Tours and tastings

“… in addition to temples and philosophy, the Greeks left a red grape vine. It was a Hellenic grape and over time became the Aglianico”

A food and wine experience in the heart of Cilento

Visits to the winery are designed as a true sensory journey, an immersion into the culture and traditions of Cilento. Understanding a wine begins with the land that creates it, which is why our experiences begin among the rows of vines.

Walking Among Vineyards and Panoramas

Accompanied by a gentle breeze, we will stroll through the vineyards and olive groves that stretch across the rolling hills, admiring a panorama that embraces the entire Upper Cilento. The view sweeps from the majestic Mount Chianello to the peak of Gelbison, from Mount Stella to the hills of Velia, offering a natural spectacle of rare beauty. The Alento Valley unfolds at our feet, with the Cilentana road winding through fields of alfalfa and lush orchards.

Among wooden barrels and ancient stones

While the vineyards, five plots close to each other, occupy the south-south/west side of the ridge on which the town stands, the cellar, three kilometers away, has been located on the north side for over 300 years.
A natural cellar made of wood and stone, with its back to the earth, cool in summer and mild in winter. A family cellar, restored in 2012

The tasting

The cellar is also where wine and local product tastings take place. The gathering can occur among the barrels, under the wooden canopy, or in the reception room, depending on the weather and the group: a table around which, thanks to the miracle of wine, spirits loosen, and languages from all over the world seem to blend into a single, vast, and varied idiom.

INFO & BOOKINGS

Just as it is advisable to uncork Aglianico a little early, for visits it is advisable to arrange the date and time a few days in advance.
