In southern Italy, in Campania, on the hills of Cilento not far from the Tyrrhenian Sea, among the archaeological sites of Paestum and Elea,
We are on the SS 18, a nervous southern terminus that connects a myriad of towns in Campania, Basilicata and Calabria divided between Naples and Reggio Calabria. At kilometre 116, in the middle of Cilento, is Rutino, lying on a ridge between Mount Stella and the Alento reservoir.
To get there:
by car: Battipaglia or Eboli exit of the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway, continue on the SS18 towards Agropoli-Vallo della Lucania, immediately after Agropoli exit at Prignano Cilento and continue towards Rutino
by train: Agropoli-Castellabate station (upon agreement it is possible to use a shuttle service to Rutino)
